Updated Week 13 NFL playoff standings after Jaguars latest win

After Sunday's win over the Arizona Cardinals, the Jacksonville Jaguars improved to 7-4 on the season.

So, now where does this team sit in the AFC playoff race heading into Week 13?

Along with the Jaguars winning, the LA Chargers, who are 7-4, were on a bye, while the Buffalo Bills dropped to 7-4 after losing to Houston.

So with the AFC's top three wildcard teams tied, the Chargers are currently the fifth seed, Jacksonville moved up one spot to the sixth seed, and Buffalo is the seventh seed.

Although the Jaguars do hold the head-to-head tie-breaker over the Chargers, because it is a three-way tie, that tie-breaker takes a back seat at this time. Instead, conference record determines the seeding.

LA is 6-2 in the AFC, Jacksonville is 4-2, and Buffalo is 4-3.

Just on the outside looking in of the AFC playoff picture are Houston, Pittsburgh, and Kansas City, all of whom are 6-5.

The Jaguars win on Sunday coupled with a loss by the Indianapolis Colts, the AFC South divisional race has tightened up quite a bit in recent weeks.

The Jaguars have a 69% chance of making the playoffs at the moment, according to NFL.com.
