In the Arizona Cardinals' 27-24 overtime loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, 20 players participated in at least one of the 84 offensive snaps.

Left tackle Paris Johnson Jr., left guard Evan Brown, center Hjalte Froholdt and right tackle Kelvin Beachum played every snap. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett missed two, while tight end Trey McBride played all but eight.

How was the playing time divided up? Below are individual snap counts for every player who got in the game offensively, grouped by position.

The first number after each name is snaps and the second is the percentage. Players in bold were starters.

Arizona Cardinals Week 12 offensive snap counts: Quarterbacks

  • Jacoby Brissett (82/98), Kedon Slovis (2/2)

  • Reserve/injured (eligible for return): Kyler Murray

It was another 300-yard passing game for Brissett (317) and another loss. Despite the good things, he was under pressure consistently, was sacked six times and had an intentional grounding penalty. Those seven cost 56 yards. The NFL gamebook credited the Jaguars with 15 quarterback hits. Brissett missed two snaps when he was hit running out of bounds.

For the second consecutive game, he averaged 9.6 yards per completion with eight targets to running backs Bam Knight and Michael Carter and nine (many short) to wide receiver Greg Dortch. Brissett ran three times for 20 yards.

Running backs

  • Michael Carter (47/56), Bam Knight (37/44)

  • Inactive: Emari Demercado

  • Active/did not play (except for special teams): Jermar Jefferson

  • Reserve/injured: Trey Benson (eligible to return/practicing), James Conner (eligible to return, but won’t)

There were only 15 carries by running backs as Carter was 5-28 and Knight 10-12 with a one-yard touchdown. Having Demercado inactive affected pass protection as Carter was blown up on one pass rush and knocked over. Knight caught four passes for 20 yards, while Carter was 3-for-30.

Wide receivers

  • Michael Wilson (69/82), Xavier Weaver (57/68), Greg Dortch (53/63), Andre Baccellia (16/19)

  • Inactive: Marvin Harrison Jr. (illness)

  • Reserve/injured: Simi Fehoko (eligible to return), Zay Jones (eligible to return, but won’t)

Wilson had another huge game with 15 targets, 10 receptions and 118 yards. Dortch caught six passes for 53 yards with a 39-yard touchdown. His other five receptions totaled only 14 yards. Weaver was inexplicably the target on the final play of the game from the Jacksonville 42-yard line on fourth-and-4. An undrafted free agent in 2024, he has three catches for 24 yards in his career (1-9 Sunday) and has played eight of a possible 28 games (six this season).

Tight ends

  • Trey McBride (74/88), Elijah Higgins (31/37), Josiah Deguara (14/17), Pharaoh Brown (8/10)

  • Reserve/injured: Tip Reiman, Travis Vokolek (both eligible to return, but won’t)

McBride caught nine passes on 10 targets for 79 yards (only 8.8 per catch) and now has 13 consecutive games with at least five receptions, tied with Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez for the second most in NFL history. He has 301 career receptions, which ties Jimmy Graham for the most by a tight end in his first four seasons in the NFL. Higgins wasn’t targeted and had a crucial pass interference penalty late in the fourth quarter that wiped out an 18-yard pass to Wilson on third-and-11 from their own 29-yard line. That led to the Cardinals giving up the ball when a fourth-and-12 attempt failed from the 28-yard line at the two-minute warning.

Offensive linemen

  • LT Paris Johnson Jr. (84/100), LG Evan Brown (84/100), C Hjalte Froholdt (84/100), RT Kelvin Beachum (84/100), RG Isaiah Adams (52/62), RG Will Hernandez (32/38), RT Josh Fryar (13/15), C/G Jon Gaines II (1/1)

  • Active/did not play: T Demontrey Jacobs

  • Reserve/injured: C/G Hayden Conner (eligible to return/practicing), T Christian Jones (eligible to return), T Jonah Williams (eligible to return but won’t)

  • Reserve/injured: Valentin Senn

Despite having a groin injury, Beachum played all 84 snaps with Jinah Williams on injured reserve. Hernandez, who had been hampered in recent weeks by the residual effects on his 2024 torn ACL, injured his hip during the game and played only 32 snaps. He was replaced by Isaiah Adams.
