AUBURN — Keldric Faulk will be "ready to go" when Auburn football faces No. 10 Alabama in the Iron Bowl, interim head coach DJ Durkin said, despite the team captain suffering an injury against Mercer that sidelined him for much of the contest.
"He just got dinged up a little bit," Durkin said Monday, Nov. 24. "We made a decision at that point in that game, where we didn't need him to keep playing in that game based on the situation."

After some deliberation with trainers on the sideline, Faulk wasn't taken to Auburn's locker room despite a stop at the medical tent. After halftime, Faulk returned to the field in uniform, but he was walking alongside Auburn's players who weren't dressed out for the contest.
Through 10 games, the All-SEC defender had 26 total tackles to go with 5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks. He also had three pass breakups and a team-high six quarterback hurries.
