After Sunday's win over the Philadelphia 76ers, Powell received an MRI on his groin. The 32-year-old has missed multiple games so far this season due to problems with his groin.

Heat fans were filled with excitement to finally see how Norman Powell and Tyler Herro would team up together in Herro's return on Monday, but it looks like the backcourt debut has been put on delay.
An MRI following Sunday's win revealed that Powell is dealing with a left groin strain. ClutchPoints' Zachary Weinberger reported that this groin issue is different from the one that's led to him missing games earlier this season.

After getting traded to the Heat from the Los Angeles Clippers this past offseason, Powell has put up All-Star numbers once again. In 14 games played, he's averaging 25.4 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.3 steals while shooting 50.0 percent from the field and 46.4 percent from three.
