ESPN predicts winner of Auburn vs. Oregon in Player's Era Festival

On Monday Auburn basketball will compete in their first game of the 2025 Player Era Festival in Las Vegas with their matchup versus the Oregon Ducks. Auburn is coming off a convincing victory over Jackson State last week and is looking to get a big win to put on their early season resume. The Ducks are 4-0 this season and are looking to pick up an impressive win as well.

The ESPN Matchup Predictor has the Tigers as the favorite on Monday with a 75.3% chance at victory with the Ducks just at 24.7%. This will be the first game this season that the Tigers will play away from the state of Alabama. With their 4-1 start, four games were at home at Neville Arena and the loss versus Houston was played in Birmingham.

Oregon presents a formable duo in guard Jackson Shelstad and center Nate Brittle. The team is led in scoring with Brittle at 18.8 points per game, but Sheltad is not far behind with 18.3. Brittle is a really good rebounders averaging 9.8 a game and brings a defensive impact with three blocks a game. Shelstad is a playmaker for the Ducks averaging five assists and 2.3 steals per game.

The Auburn defense will need to do their best to keep those two from controlling the game. A big question for Auburn will be if Keyshawn Hall will be able to play. He suffered a foot injury in the loss to Houston and did not play versus Jackson State. If he is unable to play, Tahaad Pettiford will need a big game and to get out of his shooting slump. He was 0-5 from three-point territory versus Jackson State.

Auburn vs. Oregon is set to start at 7 p.m. CT at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas and will be broadcast on truTV.
