Wein had four total tackles, including 1.5 sacks, two tackles for loss, and a quarterback hurry. A former three-star signee, Wein leads the Sooners in tackles for loss with 14 and his six sacks are just a half sack behind R Mason Thomas for the most on the team. It's the second consecutive SEC weekly award for Wein after earning Defensive Lineman of the Week honors after the win over Alabama.
Halton has built on a breakout season in 2025 to be a force for the Sooners' defense in the middle of one of the best defensive lines in college football. He was named Defensive Lineman of the Week for Week 13. On Saturday against Missouri, Halton recorded seven total tackles, a half sack, two tackles for loss, and a quarterback hurry. It's the second time in Halton's career that he was named SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week.
Miller was called upon on a number of occasions to help the Sooners win the field position battle. He punted the ball nine times, averaging 44.9 yards per punt. He had five punts of 50+ yards, which is tied for the second most 50-yard punts in Oklahoma history. He also forced the Missouri Tigers to play deep within their own end of the field with four punts downed inside the 20-yard line. Miller has been a weapon for the Sooners this season and this was his second SEC Special Teams Player of the Week award.
The Sooners have received a number of standout performances this season on their way to a 9-2 record. Oklahoma has now claimed 14 weekly awards from the SEC this season. Oklahoma will try to claim more weekly honors this week when they take on the LSU Tigers.
