The Brooklyn Nets (3-13) had been hoping that the winning feeling they felt on Friday would last longer than two days given how tough this season has been for the team. Brooklyn had the potential of missing two key players in center Nic Claxton and Egor Demin against the Toronto Raptors (12-5) and while they were able to play, the Nets still met a familiar fate.
The Nets lost at the Raptors on Sunday 119-109 despite this game being a back-and-forth affair until the very end when Toronto pulled away. Guard Tyrese Martin had his best game of the season with 26 points, six rebounds, and three assists off the bench while forward Michael Porter Jr. stayed true to his scoring role with 25 points, six rebounds, and four assists.

The Nets did what they could to keep their winning ways going, but with that being said, here are three Nets takeaways from Sunday's loss at the Raptors:
Tyrese Martin Huge Off The Bench
The Nets were coming off a huge win at the Boston Celtics thanks to the entire team stepping up against a tough, but beatable opponent. However, against the red-hot Raptors, Martin came off the bench to have his best game of the season, putting up 26 points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals in just 25 minutes of action against a solid Eastern Conference team.
Noah Clowney Playing Strong
Clowney has been having a huge November as he appears to be growing into his own in terms of his offensive game and being able to use his added strength to his advantage. Clowney did not shoot the ball well from three-point land at all against the Raptors, but he still put up 22 points, two steals, and two blocks thanks to his willingness to drive to the basket and be physical at the rim.

While the Nets went back-and-forth with the Raptors in this game for the first three quarters, the fourth quarter showed that Brooklyn still has some work to do when it comes to finishing games well, whether it results in a win or a loss. With 4:24 left in the game, Brooklyn and Toronto were tied at 104 and from that point on, the Raptors finished the game on a 15-5 run, with Immanuel Quickley and Sandro Mamukelashvili scoring 11 of those 15 points on relatively-easy looks.
