Those outcomes have set up a potentially thrilling end to the AFC South divisional race as the NFL season heads toward the stretch run.

First thing's first -- these are the standings through Week 12:

  • Colts 8-3

  • Jaguars 7-4

  • Texans 6-5

  • Titans 1-10

So don't discount the Texans entirely, either.

But the Colts and Jags have the best chance here.

Indy lost on Sunday, not holding a lead against the Kansas City Chiefs in what might end up looking like a major setback.

The Jaguars held off the Arizona Cardinals for a victory.

"The Jaguars play the 1-10 Titans next week, while the Colts play the Texans and their top-ranked defense," ESPN's Mike DiRocco wrote on Monday. "If the Jaguars beat the Titans, that will set up a huge Week 14 showdown with the Colts in Jacksonville. Indy last won there in 2014."

The Jags and Colts will then meet again in Week 17.

The AFC South isn't one of the most popular divisions in the NFL. But if you want some drama down the stretch of this season, these teams could definitely provide it.
