On the heels of raising its prices to an all-time high, HBO Max is now getting a major price decrease for a limited time.

HBO Max has announced a new Black Friday deal in which subscribers can sign up for the Basic plan, which comes with ads, for 70% cheaper than its normal pricing. The new price will be $2.99 a month for the first 12 months, a steep drop from the original $10.99 per month price, with the offer being available through Monday, December 1 for both new and returning subscribers on the site, Apple, Google Play, Roku, Samsung, Xumo, additional select partners, and for new HBO Max customers only on Amazon Fire TV.
